Rules First Annual Whisky Dinner
Thursday, 13th November 2014 7.30 pm – 10.30 pm Hosted by Colin Dunn, Whisky Specialist Venue: Grahame Greene Room, Rules Restaurant Price £200 per person
We invite you to join us in one of our unique private rooms for a special 5 course whisky dinner. Our whisky expert, Colin Dunn, will guide you through the evening, pairing a whisky with each course. The menu created by head chef David Stafford will use the finest ingredients reflecting Rules renowned game cooking. There will be 6 whiskies in total including a digestif all carefully chosen to complement the dishes provided.
Colin Dunn: Colin has been Whisky Ambassador for Diageo for 6 years looking after their Portfolio of Single Malts and Blended Whiskies. Previously Colin worked with Suntory helping to introduce Japanese Whiskies into the UK. He has been voted Class Magazine and Whisky Magazine Brand Ambassador of the Year and is a Keeper of the Quaich, a coveted award given to a selected number of experts for services to the Whisky Industry.
David Stafford: Head Chef, Rules. David’s impressive résumé reads like a Who’s Who’s of London’s best Restaurants. The River Cafe, 1 Abingdon Road, Café Anglais and latterly Cafe à Vin with the Galvin Brothers. Since joining Rules in 2011, David has taken what Rules does best i.e. game, pies and puddings and added his own creative flourishes, enhancing the restaurant’s reputation for the finest British food and highest quality ingredients.
